Whine + Complain

I did not choose him and he did not choose me.

Smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee

Something I’d really like to be doing right now.  Goddamn cough.

Moustache Man and I had been eyeing this Equipment houndstooth shirt forever.  Luckily, MM found it on sale at Saks.  Score.

These pants are out of character for me, but I love that about them.  In related news, I think I’m having a mid-style crisis.  My body not only craves sequins (matte, I haven’t completely lost touch with myself), but fur.  FUR!  I feel like I have a baby Olsen growing inside me.

Squares and Stripes

New beginnings are super scary.  I thought I was going to have security for the remainder of the year, but it didn’t work out.  So I’ve returned to my comfort zone for inspiration and hope.  Reunited and it feels so good.

Patchwork

This is the perfect look for sobbing in a dirty parking lot.  Over-sized sunglasses and a cigarette complete the look.  I’ve been having a rough patch this past couple of weeks, but I’m getting over it.  New beginnings are something to look forward to, right?  On a lighter note, these Ksubi jeans are one of my favorite pair.  Those Ozzies roughed them up with perfect subtlety.  They’re on sale at shopbop, so check them out!

Ribcage

My ribcage has been keen on showcasing itself.  Unfortunately, my belly button is fat.  So the simple conclusion was that I needed a crop top.  Enter my knight in silky Loeffler Randall.   This Opening Ceremony bustier has everything I want in a crop top: comfort, unique details, and versatility.  I paired it with every high-waisted item in my closet, but liked this one the best.  I think the movement of the umbrella skirt juxtaposes nicely with the body-con nature of the top.  Thanks twentythirtyforty.net!  You saved my belly button from shame.
