The funny thing is I don’t mind booty shorts, but I can’t wear booty skirts. I believe it has to do with the crotch coverage of the former.
Moustache Man couldn’t make sense of my getting another pair of booty shorts. They’re not all the same, as you know. This high-waisted pair is special because it’s perfect for tucking in tops. Usually, I’m not a tucker because of the sloppy un-tuck situation, but I think these shorts can pull it off.
I have gone over to the dark side and am officially obsessed with tights. When I saw Wolford’s Moulin Rouge tights in anthracite, I knew I had to have them. They’re sexy because of the pinstripe peeks of skin, but not as overt as fishnets. Instead of pairing them with a solid (yawn), I tried to mix it up by using texture. The blouse actually has a similar vertical stripe texture, but the plaid skirt breaks it up and adds a pop of color. Now I’ve got my eyes on the Wolford Shade tights (Chanel’s done it, but these are probably a fraction of the cost). This legwear obsession is also an addiction.
