I had a ball shopping in Korea.  There is such a plethora of neighborhoods, boutiques and independent designers that it makes it difficult to edit your purchases.  Not to mention that the prices are fair and quality quite good.  I picked up this equestrian cap and houndstoothy skirt at a local boutique and they’ve been my go-to pieces ever since I got back.

Moustache Man and I grabbed a New Year’s Eve lunch at Electric Karma.  It’s the type of place where you sit cross legged on silk pillows, the smell of spices and sounds of Bollywood over powering the senses.

NYR #3

Happy Baby Pose:  As a former collager, I’ve acquired quite a collection of magazine scraps.  This is one of the images that made the cut but was too special to paste.  It’s my inspiration for NYR #3: Exercise.  My goals will include talking a walk everyday and yoga classes in between.  I enjoy yoga (I’m a Hatha girl), but I don’t like schlepping around in active-wear.  Here’s my outfit solution:

With the chill a sweater like this Corey Lynn Calter cocoon cardigan will come in handy.  I’d wear it over . . .

this VPL breaker tank, a real classic piece as far as V. Bartlett lovers are concerned.  The empire waist will be nice and flowy over . . .

these BCBG leggings.  Personally, I don’t like fabric flapping around while I’m doing poses.  The leggings are cropped, so that . . .

these adorable Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Beth flats are in plain view.  I love the ankle straps and Ferragamo-escent touch at the toe.  Now, I’m all ready for my yoga session.  If I keep up my regiment, I might just reward myself with one of these goodies.
