half way

Every guy and girl needs a good skirt trouser.  There’s something so perfectly androgynous about the combination.  No one makes them like J.W. Anderson, but this pair has become my favorite bottoms of the moment.

fun dip

My latest dyeing project fared much better than my last.  Since I was working with cotton, it was a less toxic and trying process.  I’ve always loved ombre, so with internet resources as my guide, I was off into the kitchen.  Making a dye bath is really like cooking soup.  You add a dash of this (color) and that (water, salt, white vinegar) and voila!  Lemon/lime ombre.  So delicious.

LIMO

I wish I had one of his knitted, netted ski masks to go with this outfit.  I wonder what the proper etiquette would be for wearing one.  Maybe instead of taking it off for supper you could just use specialty RO chopsticks.

pinch me

Sports have never been my thing.  (What’s the point if you can hit the ball, but can’t catch it?)  I have, however, been googly-eyed over the recent sporty looks I’ve seen.  Racer tanks, sports bras and sweats have never been so coveted.

I’ve been more open to adding brights and prints into my wardrobe.  Might as well have a little fun right?  Lately, I’ve been obsessing (a little unhealthily) over neon yellow.  I missed out on the perfect slip dress in the shade, but I’m consoling myself with the thought of my latest purchase.

tug of war

I’ve been feeling peplumy . . . my latest craving is a skirt pant.  Until I find the one, I guess I’ll have to improvise.  Victoria Bartlett would be so proud.
