‘’The exploration of the visual tension between illusion, reality and their perpetual contextual interaction.’’

Everything about Gaia’s S/S 2012 collection feels of the moment to me.  The soft hues, specialty knits and subtle feminine details are essential to her line.  I find myself wanting to express my femininity more while maintaining a minimal perspective, and her “universe” is a perfect place for me to start.

I discovered Gaia on Blogger’s Wardrobe, a website for independent designers and bloggers to communicate and express themselves creatively.  Lucky members have access gratis to designs by brands taking part in this community.  But Blogger’s Wardrobe is more than a place to get free stuff, it’s a growing source for inspiration.

This simplicity, asymmetry and simplicity, sometimes gives everything a blogger needs.

I find the soft hues and the combination with the details interesting. It’s very feminine and remarkably simple. I do agree it maintains a very minimalistic approach. It’s something very different I haven’t seen in a while. Great find! :]
