Remember the Alex Wang Spring ’10 show?  I loved it.  The styling was absolutely superb and inspiring.   A few weeks back, I saw some pieces live at Barneys and was disappointed.  I expected the runway looks to translate off the racks, but was underwhelmed by the individual pieces.  (I still want those awesome knee socks).

The collection inspired this look.  Here is a football look circa 2009.
